Conversely Universal

So a friend says
"I have a neighbour that has a TARDIS cupboard ~ do you want it?"

There are two things you need to know about me.

I LOVE shoes.
I LOVE Doctor Who.

No surprise, I said yes.
I had no idea if it was plastic and 6" tall, if it was a wall cupboard, or if it was crocheted with pom poms. No clue. So Imagine my surprise when I had 4 massive flat sheets and a top of all wooden TARDIS in my hall. Originally created by clever craftsman Tim for a theatre production.... OK, no console, no key and I'm pretty sure it's NOT bigger on the inside but HELL ~ awesome in the extreme.

I basically wanted this in every room in the house. The kids insisted it lived downstairs (oh poor bewildered hubby) so we rejigged and it's in the dining room. We haven't enough space to have it 'just' there.... so it struck me that a trip to Ikea and a bit of a tidy job was in order....

yey. So there you have my UK Mother's Day adventure.
But what fabric should we use for the mini curtains?
I have a few fab ones to choose from!

so now I'm off to buy some more shoes :D xxx

Well done on getting of that done on Mother's Day! How brilliant that it has a working light on top :)

Bwhahaha, the wonder of a Tardis in your home. And the wonder of yellow shoes AND red plaid shoes!

You totally rock.
